What a VR escape room actually feels like
You arrive, walk through the portal entrance (yes, it glows), and meet your host. After a quick briefing you're headset-on inside a warm-up space to learn the controls — most people get it in about two minutes. Then the real game starts. Unlike a traditional escape room, you're not stuck in one decorated room: free-roam means you physically walk through the game world, reach out and grab objects, and see your teammates as characters right next to you. Puzzles react when you touch them. Doors open when you solve them. And because we run one group per slot, there's never a stranger's elbow in your escape. How is a VR escape room different from a regular escape room?
In a regular escape room you're locked in one physical room. In our free-roam VR escape rooms, you physically walk through an entire virtual world — manors, dungeons, temples — grabbing objects and solving puzzles with your hands. You see your teammates as characters beside you, and the environment reacts to everything you do. Same teamwork and ticking clock, much bigger world.
Do I need VR experience to play?
Not at all. Every session starts with a briefing from your host and a warm-up in a virtual arcade space to get comfortable with the controls before your game begins. Most first-timers are moving confidently within a couple of minutes, and your host watches your game and can help anytime.
How long is a VR escape room session?
Each game runs in a 30-minute arena window. Most guests book a 3-game or 4-game session to try an escape room plus other experiences like zombie shooters or adventure games in one visit.
Will we share the arena with strangers?
Never. Every booking is a private slot — one group per arena. Whether you're a party of two or a full birthday crew, the arena is yours for your window.
What ages can play?
Our experiences are thrilling but family-safe, and we host plenty of parties for kids around 9 and up alongside teen groups, couples, and corporate teams. Your host will recommend games that match your group's age and nerve level — from gentle puzzle adventures to intense escapes.
Can we pick which escape room we play?
Yes — choose your game when you book, or decide on arrival and get recommendations from your host based on your group's experience and how challenging you want it. Beginner, intermediate, and advanced options are all on the menu.
Is it good for birthday parties or corporate events?
It's what we're known for. Birthday packages include the arena plus party time, and you can bring your own pizza and cake. For corporate team building we run custom private events — a puzzle under a timer is the fastest team-chemistry test you'll ever run. Holiday season dates book up early, so reach out ahead.
